Instructions & Guidelines for Use

1.     Warning: Do not operate this machine until you have read and understand these instructions!!

2.     Plug in the Cotton Candy Machine

3.     Without motor running, fill the floss head about 90% full with sugar. DO NOT OVER FILL! As you refill the floss head, always fill about 90%. NEVER ADD SUGAR WHEN MOTOR IS RUNNING. After adding sugar, manually rotate head to balance.

4.     Flip MAIN SWITCH and HEAT SWITCH to ON position.

5.     Turn heat control knob in the clockwise position to maximum setting until the machine warms up.

6.     The machine should begin to make floss in a few seconds. If the unit begins to smoke, turn the heat control knob in the counter clockwise direction until heat is adjusted and smoke stops. (Smoke indicates the sugar is burning)

7.     Caution: Never operate the machine for a prolonged period of time with the heat control in a position that causes the sugar to smoke. If you smell burning sugar or smoke, REDUCE THE HEAT. 

8.     Once you find the ideal setting for the heat control, you should be able to operate at that level the entire time.

9.     To swirl the sugar floss onto the cone, get some floss onto the cone to start. Gently pull away from the machine so a long strand separates. With a twist of your wrist, swirl the floss around the cone.

10.  To clean: Clean the bowl and any accessories with soap and water. Remove excess floss from the floss head, but do not clean. We will clean the floss head when it is returned.
