Instructions & Guidelines For Use
- Included in this rental is (1)
Amplifier, (1) Mixer Board, (1) Microphone with cord, (2) Speaker wire
spools, (2) Speakers, (1) RCA Patch Cable and a storage container.
- To connect the amplifier and the
mixer board, attach one end of the rca cord, which has been provided, to the
area on the back of the mixer board marked “output-amp”. Attach the other
end to the back of the amplifier marked
“input
line 2”.
- Take the (2) spools of wire. One end
of the wire has been split and stripped. The other end had a ¼” “phone jack.
A white spot has been painted onto one of the split wires. You will need
this designation when hooking up the speakers (Wire with black tape group)
- On the back of the amplifier, you
will see an area with black and red plugs. There are slots available for up
to (4) speakers. You are being provided (2) with this rental. On line “A”,
insert a wire into either the red or black plug and then tighten. (please
note: if inserting the white marked wire from one spool into one color plug,
insert the white marked wire from the other spool into the same color plug
for the other speaker).
- On the back of the speakers, you
will see an area with a black button and a red button and a large “hole”.
The speaker wires with this rental have a ¼” phone jack attachment on them.
Simply insert the jack into the area on the back of the speakers.
- Microphones can be attached to
either the back of the mixer board or the front of the amplifier, in the
designated areas.
- You can hook up your CD player,
stereo, IPod, etc. to the amplifier in the area marked “Input” on the back
of the amp or on the mixer board in the areas marked “CH1”, “CH2” and “CH
3”. You must provide any wiring needed to do this.
- All controls for sound adjustments
are on the mixer board. Controls to adjust the quality of the input are on
the amplifier.
- When finished using the unit, please
return the microphones and wire spools to the plastic bags provided.
